I know DHL is among the leading players in international express, overland transport, air freight, ocean fright, contract logistics and many other disciplines. But please explain to me what took DHL so long to deliver my package.
Though I love travelling I usually don't prefer my luggage to do an "Around the world" trip. The tracking information below shows that from Bangalore, it made its way to Cologne, via New Delhi. And then it made a trip to Brussels in Belgium. Then it crossed the Atlantic and reached Ohio, USA. And then again it shows Brussels, did it cross Atlantic again? And then to the Sin City, Amsterdam. Wow!!! it is indeed the luckiest of all the bags for having got a chance to do so much travelling but here, I'm awaiting for the stuff inside that. It then arrives at Mexico city and again goes back to Ohio. Has it taken a wrong cargo or something? Or if you can't deliver it, I can ask my friend who is travelling to Ohio to collect and ship it with Fedex or UPS or some other providers who do not offer such free touring options for the baggage.
Latest news I received about the bag said that it has reached Monterrey. And the cutsoms authorities need another 2 weeks time to analyze the edibles if it is not biologically hazardous. And the clothes inside them, are for using it here Mister and not for selling, as one of the personnels doubted. If you want to analyze the food for 2 weeks, then you might as well consume it or destroy it, I'm sure it'll not be in edible state after your bloody analysis. I was thinking USA was the only country which was foolishly scrupulous about all this, but now I'm aware that Mexico too is following the footsteps of its great neighbour, which is a pity. The point here is, I'm not trying to blame USA or Mexico or the customs. You!!! The Great DHL, as a service provider should know a priori, on what to allow and what to deny, shouldn't you?
I request that whatever you want to do with that, try to send it soon before the edibles reach the non-edible state. Again, the clothes in there are old and used and are meant for using here, I promise I dont sell them in flea market.
